Description
This exhibition of Hana’s work is a breath-taking embodiment of this feminine force of nature, and just how beautiful, powerful and ultimately fragile it is. Without its elements, all life is unsustainable, and yet we have lost our connection with it. Hana’s elegant work sits at the confluence between the Classical and the contemporary, of the natural world and the viewer’s place within it. Her paintings unveil a new mythology that seeks to transform our relationship with nature.

Most poignantly of all, her pieces speak to us at a time that we are facing an ecological crisis. Our treatment of Mother Earth is unbalanced and unjust, and our society behaves as if nature is a commodity with infinite resources. Hana’s paintings gently provoke us to think deeply about this imbalance, and signify what needs to change. The partnership with One Tree Planted inspires the audience to take action; to draw us closer to nature and to give back by replenishing the forests and protecting our planet, as humanity faces our biggest challenge yet.
